Description
The range of cheeses, small goods, deli lines and smoked seafood is second-to-none. The shop brims with cakes, biscuits, tortes and French style breads baked on the premises.
Also enjoy a yummy selection of desserts, take-home or eat-in meals, fresh-made salads, fresh-made juices, baked pies and pastries, grazing platters, King Island products and a vast selection of continental groceries, olive oils, coffees, teas, pastas, dips, home-made ice creams, dried fruits, salad dressings and preserves.
No matter what your requirements, MBD will meet your needs. In the unlikely event that we don’t have it in stock, we will be more than happy to order it for you. Also available is a range of hampers, giftware, gift packed coffee pots and a selection of specialty chocolates.
Con and Steve Manolas have been in the deli business together for over 15 years. MBD has been voted best deli on the Gold Coast for the last 5 consecutive years. Con and Steve started with an original store at Carrara, created another in Main Beach and recently opened MBD Broadbeach in January 2004. The Broadbeach store is the Manolas Brothers newest and best delicatessen, where you can feel the great atmosphere and enjoy the yummiest foods and drinks either in-store or take-away.
Tradition and heritage inspire the passion of MBD, as Con and Steve Manolas have fond memories of growing up with Mediterranean style ‘mezza’ lunches. It was all about food and wine but most importantly, socialising. Growing up as part of Brisbane’s extended Greek community has meant that culture is strongly woven into the philosophy which fuels their Manolas Brothers Delicatessen chain.
