MIRAGE BOAT HIRE has been established for over 25 years, the longest period any boat hire company has been on the Gold Coast. It was originally two companies, one named POPEYE’S BOAT HIRE and the other CAPTAIN BARB E BOAT HIRE, which was appropriate.
Owner swearing to customers n rude!

Be aware: this owner swears to customers n turn into rudeness as soon as he gets paid. The service it provides is poor while the quality/facility of the boats are no difference to its competitors. Never choose Mirage but go n do the rent at another rentals! Stressing i am not insulting an individual (the owner)

i have used this company a few times to rent a boat. however, our last experience was not a good one. the owner was friendly for the first 2 minutes until we give our bond, then he became quite rude and literally insulted our driver for not understanding all the explanations the first time. he kept our bond under the excuse of needing to replace a propeller (150$; bond is 500$) without further explanation. there are many boat rental companies on the gold coast, so i would definitely recommend to pick another one.
