I personally thought that Surfers was a little over-rated. The beach isn't even that good. The clubs and great view of the hundreds of buildings is magnificent but the beach is absolutely completely average.

The most exciting beach in Australia. Great view of skyscrapers, especially with the Q1 and the Soul coming soon. The waves are not the best in Australia but the nearby attractions is what makes Surfers a paradise.
